Warranty Policy

1. How long is the warranty period for JOI devices?

All JOI devices come with 1 Year Local Warranty except JOI Box series, which comes with 3 Years.

2. What is covered by the warranty?

This warranty covers motherboard, battery, speaker, camera, keyboard (for 2 in 1 models), charging adapter and other relevant parts that cause the device to malfunction.

3. What is not covered by the warranty?

  • Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship
  • Damage (screen/device body) caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake or other external cause
  • Damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) by anyone who is not an Authorized JOI Technical/Service personnel
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the JOI Product
  • Any serial number has been defaced or removed from the JOI product
  • Software issues due to installation of custom ROMS or any other third party software causes

Q: How do I proceed with warranty for JOI products?
A: You can follow these simple steps:
  1. Go to www.joi.com.my > Contact Us > Support Center
  2. Look for the nearest Support Center Collection Point
  3. Bring together your proof of purchase (receipt/consignment note/other relevant documents) and JOI device (full set with box) to the chosen support center.
  4. Get a case ID for reference given by the Support center staff
  5. Wait for further updates from the Support center on your device.

Q. If the support collection center is too far, is there other ways I can send my device for warranty?
A. You can courier your JOI device (Full Set with receipt/proof of purchase/consignment note/other relevant documents) to our Customer Service Department located in our headquarter at SNS Network Sdn Bhd, No.61, Jalan Sultan Nazrin Shah, 30250 Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan.

Q. Can I purchase additional accessories of the JOI products and do they cover any warranty?
A. Yes you can purchase. For further information, kindly contact our Customer Service, SNS Network at 05-2424616. The warranty will cover 3 months only for the accessories purchased.
